🔯Desh Bhakti Divas organised in Chirang district 

📝Kajalgaon, July 28: The Desh Bhakti Divas was observed in Chirang district to mark the Death Anniversary of Desh Bhakta Tarun Ram Phukan under the aegis of District Information and Public Relations Officer (DIPRO), Chirang, at their office premises at Kajalgaon on Wednesday. 

The programme, which began with lighting of the Shradhanjali lamp by Khanindra Das, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Chirang, was followed by offering floral tribute to the portrait of Desh Bhakta Tarun Ram by Lakhinath Brahma, Sahitya Akademi awardee, noted educationist and social worker.

Remembering Desh Bhakta Tarun Ram Phukan, all the dignitaries present on the occasion payed homage to him and elaborately discussed about his life history, including his contributions during the freedom struggle and to the society in various fields.

In another programme, held in the conference hall of Bijni Civil Sub-Divisional Officer's office in connection with celebration of Desh Bhakti Divas at Sub-Divisional level, attending as special guest noted social worker Sabir Kumar Das lit the shradhanjali lamp and payed homage to Desh Bhakta Tarun Ram Phukan in the presence of Assistant Commissioner, Bijni, Bruhid Rabha, Harilal Bayan, Vice-President of Chirang District Sahitya Sabha.

In both the programmes, media persons of Chirang district were warmly participated.🔯
