🔯Gunotsav concludes smoothly in Chirang district🔯

📝Kajalgaon, June 4: The Phase-III Gunotsav-2022, which was held for four days from June 1 to June 4, 2022 with self evaluation and external evaluation in Chirang district concluded smoothly on Saturday. During this phase of the Gunotsav, a total of 63,171 students were evaluated out of 71,966 total target students reading in class-I to class-IX in 912 schools with 88 percentage.Chirang Deputy Commissioner Narendra Kumar Shah expressed his gratitude and satisfaction on the smooth completion of Gunotsav-2022 in the district.He expressed his sincere gratitude to all the senior officers of the state government as well as the officers of the neighboring districts who visited the district and evaluated the performance of the students and schools, officials of the district administration, various departments, and especially the officials and staff of the district education department.It may be stated that a total of 422 External Evaluators, including three external evaluators deputed by the state government namely Aninidya Swargawari, Special PCCF(SF), Krishna Das, AIGP(RE-Orgn) and Sarmistha Baruah, AIGP(W&S) had rendered their services as External Evaluators in the district.

The entire process was closely monitored by Deputy Commissioner Narendra Kumar Shah along with senior officials of the district administration and officials of education department from the first day of this exercise.The Deputy Commissioner Narendra Kumar Shah and Bijni Civil Sub-Divisional Officer Rahul Gupta, on the last day too, visited Bijni Bandhab Higher Secondary School and took stock of the ongoing external evaluation exercise in the school. They assessed learning level of students in reading, writing and mathematical skills, infrastructures, community participation, functioning of library, science laboratories, toilets and implementation of mid-day meal. To mark the World Environment Day, they also planted saplings at the premises of school campus.🔯
